Liverpool Cityscape 'Old & New'

August 04, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

Credit where credit is due, the redevelopment of Liverpool city centre is looking fantastic, an excellent yet tasteful blend of old and new, with ultra-modern building contrasting and complimenting the traditional maritime architecture that has deservedly earned Liverpool waterfront World Heritage status.

I have to say the latest landscaping of Chevasse Park is even more icing on the cake. The effort and attention to detail has really paid off, I may be a little biased but I can think of no other city centre as impressive as this.

All in all a great day out, not only enjoying the latest and greatest developments but also exploring some of the older buildings such as Blue Coat Chambers. Whilst I'm sure most are drawn to Liverpool One for it's excellent shopping, its also a superb location for photographers with no shortage of creative shooting opportunities.
