Liam & Chantelle's Wedding

July 14, 2013  •  5 Comments

Wow! What a fantastic day!! The sun was shining, clear blue skies, the odd wisp of cloud. Chantelle's dress was stunning in a beautiful bridal white, hair and make-up done to perfection and Liam, cool as ever looking sharp!

The shoot started with the Bride and Donna, Maid of Honour at Eden hair salon on Arbour St before moving on to Beale's on Lord St for make-up. From there we switched locations back and forward to capture Chantelle and Liam as they made their preparations towards the ceremony. Taking in the Groom's residence, the Tea Rooms in Birkdale village and the Brides suite at the Vincent Hotel on Lord St along the way.

The ceremony itself took place at St Johns Church in Birkdale, the Bride arrived in the style and luxury that only a striking black Rolls Royce Phantom can deliver, maybe a little late, but hey that's the Brides prerogative :)

Following the ceremony and the group shots outside the church we stopped off at a couple of scenic locations around Southport for the Bride and Groom poses. Then on to the Barking Frog on Manchester Road for the Wedding reception. All in all an excellent day, fun all round and everyone having a great time!

I have to say a huge thank you to so many people, to Liam and Chantelle for giving me the honour and privilege to shoot their special day. To the guests of the Bride and Groom, friends and family, a great bunch of people who created a superb atmosphere, thank you for all your cooperation, helping me to fulfil Liam and Chantelle's wishes to capture the fun and excitement of the day. Thank you to Francesca, at Eden Hair Salon, the make-up girls on the Estee Lauder counter at Beale's department store, the staff at Vincent Hotel, Jeremy the vicar at St Johns, Tony the chauffeur, to the DJ and the Band and to Rob and all his staff at the Barking Frog. Really appreciate all the space you gave me at a time when you're all working so hard to deliver that perfect day for Liam and Chantelle, especially in 32 degree heat of our sunny weather! Finally massive thanks to those who personally assisted me on the day, to Donna, Maid of Honour, Best Men Phil and Tomo, great speech Tomo! and to my photographic assistant Harry Ormesher Jr.

I hope you all enjoyed the blog, please feel free to browse the rest of my site and please do leave comments and sign my guestbook.

The work continues for me, I've over 1200 shots to process for the Bride and Groom, just a few tasters here to get us started, much more to come...
